             Mid-Life Mood & Mind Mentor
Support for your mind and emotions during midlife change,
Where menopause expertise meets emotional wellbeing

(peri)menopause can be confusing, overwhelming, and isolating —

I offer specialised emotional wellbeing support for women navigating perimenopause and menopause — a phase where hormonal shifts, life transitions, and accumulated pressures often collide.
My approach blends counselling skills, psychological insight, and menopause-trained understanding to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and feel more grounded, supported, and empowered.

Within our sessions, I also provide evidence-based information and, where appropriate, safe signposting to additional resources or professional support, helping you access the guidance you may need beyond our work together.

While I am a GP and menopause specialist, this is not a medical service. I work exclusively in a therapeutic, mentoring capacity — offering space, clarity, emotional support, and practical coping strategies.

Session Options (scroll down)

A structured, in-depth exploration of your mental and emotional wellbeing during (peri)menopause. In this session, we focus on understanding and mapping:

Depression: persistent sadness, low motivation, fatigue, hopelessness, loss of interest, and changes in sleep or appetite.

Anxiety: excessive worry, restlessness, racing thoughts, irritability, tension, and physical symptoms like palpitations.

Mood swings and irritability: rapid emotional fluctuations, sensitivity, and triggers amplified by stress, poor sleep, or life transitions.

Sleep disturbances and insomnia: difficulty falling or staying asleep, night sweats, hot flashes, and the impact on mood and cognition.

Stress and burnout: emotional exhaustion, overwhelm, and challenges balancing work, family, and life responsibilities

Cognitive changes (“brain fog”): forgetfulness, word-finding difficulties, slower mental processing, and difficulty concentrating.

We explore contributing factors such as hormonal fluctuations, chronic stress, grief, role overload, and life transitions. We will explore prescribed and non-prescribed management options, as well as lifestyle and nutrition changes that may help.

You’ll leave with a clear understanding of your emotional and cognitive landscape, practical coping strategies, and a personalised wellbeing plan tailored to your needs.
